Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you use TextOS, we may collect:

• Email address — required to sign in and communicate with you.
• Business information — descriptions, URLs, and data you provide when building a business through TextOS.
• IP address — captured when you use the anonymous research form, for abuse prevention and rate limiting. Stored in our database with a 90-day retention window.
• Usage data — page views, feature interactions, and analytics events. Processed through Google Analytics 4.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. TextOS does not store card numbers or bank details.

2. How we use it

• To deliver the TextOS service — build businesses, run agent tasks, generate content.
• To communicate with you about your account, tasks, and relevant product updates.
• To prevent abuse and enforce rate limits on unauthenticated features.
• To improve the product via aggregated analytics.

3. Third-party services

TextOS uses the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Cloudflare — CDN, hosting, edge computing, DNS, storage.
• Anthropic — AI model inference (Claude). Input data may be used to improve Anthropic's models per their Terms of Service unless opted out.
• SendGrid — outbound email delivery.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Google Analytics — aggregated usage analytics.
• Hunter.io — email discovery for cold outreach tasks (only on paid tiers, only for businesses you create).
• Buffer — social media scheduling (only on paid tiers, only for businesses you create).

4. Data retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Anonymous snapshot data (submitted before sign-up) is retained for 90 days then deleted. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing [email protected].

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
