Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using TextOS ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

TextOS provides an AI agent platform that builds and manages online businesses on your behalf. The agent uses third-party services (SendGrid, Stripe, Buffer, Hunter.io, Anthropic, and others) to execute tasks. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of those services through TextOS complies with their respective terms.

3. Account

You must be 18 or older to use TextOS. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. TextOS uses passwordless authentication — you are responsible for keeping your email account secure.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use TextOS to:

• Send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or violate CAN-SPAM / GDPR rules.
• Engage in illegal activity or harass other people.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform.
• Impersonate another person or business.

5. Content ownership

You own the content and business data you input into TextOS. TextOS owns the platform, the agent, and the infrastructure. AI-generated outputs are provided to you for your use; TextOS makes no warranty as to their accuracy, originality, or fitness for purpose.

6. Payment and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Core Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; you retain access through the end of the billing period. Founder Lifetime is a one-time payment with no refunds after 7 days. À la carte task purchases are non-refundable once the task has run.

7. Limitation of liability

TextOS is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid to TextOS in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by emailing [email protected].

9. Changes

We will notify you of material changes to these Terms by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
